This luxurious shepherds hut has two double bedrooms, a wc & shower room and a cosy reception area with a log burning stove. Its fitted kitchen has a SMEG 4 burner gas hob, a Bosch oven and an undercounter fridge. Disconnect by switching off the fibre optic broadband wifi or leave it in place for a tranquil ‘work from holiday’ option. Birch Retreat has Herdwick wool insulation and is an all weather holiday cabin with heating including a warming towel rail in the shower room and a drying room for hiking boots and coats next to its private gravelled parking area and log store.

Had a lovely time staying here – it was very cozy and the fire kept us very warm in the colder weather. The huts are very well stocked with everything you could need – and are a short 5 minute walk from the village bakery and pub. Would highly recommend!
