Rates range from £ 61 per person per night based on full occupancy of the 1 bedroom for a 3 night mid-week stay in the 2024 early spring season.

Overview

This get away from it all star gazing retreat has a five-foot king-size bed, a hand-painted kitchen with a gas hob and LPG oven, a refrigerator and wifi.

The solar powered hut is insulated with locally sourced sheep’s wool and has heating and a warming towel rail. The ensuite shower room is equipped with a chrome shower with hot running water and a plumbed WC and basin.

In the summer, keep the doors open and enjoy dining al fresco in the private wildflower terrace overlooking the river where you can soak up the sun as well as the beautiful views over the valley and private woodland of The Rowley Estate at Blencowe.

Peace and quiet nature at my door step. The shepherds hut was warm clean and comfortable. Would recommend strongly to anyone who wants a peaceful break. Directions to the hut were very clear also. To be able to sit outside at night next to the fire pit just looking at...

Well equipped shepherd’s hut. Particularly enjoyed the woodland glade with fire pit and stream. There is a BBQ also and excellent communication from the Estate. Very peaceful and out of sight and sound of the other huts so perfect for a secluded stay. Many thanks.
