Our stay at Hause Hall Farm was absolutely stunning. Nestled in the heart of the Lake District, this beautiful farmhouse offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, creating a peaceful and idyllic retreat. The property itself is full of charm, blending rustic character with modern comforts, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The attention to detail throughout the house was exceptional, with spacious and beautifully furnished rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and cozy living spaces that made us feel right at home. The outdoor areas were just as spectacular, providing the perfect spot to take in the stunning scenery, whether enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sunset over the hills. A special thank you for the wonderful welcome basket—it was such a thoughtful touch and made our arrival even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to return to this incredible farmhouse! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious escape in the Lake District.

What a wonderful property- incredible views and so well equipped. Christine was an amazing host. I would love to return in summer – although for mid March we were blessed with beautiful weather and a super starry sky! We were here as a mix of families for my husbands 40th and we all loved it. We had a wonderful time at Hause Hall Farm over New Year as a family. It is a true home away from home with hotel standards. Beds are incredibly comfy and the bathroom products are a lovely touch! Kitchen had everything we needed and more. They’ve truly thought of everything! Dog & child friendly. Surroundings are stunning. Christine was incredibly helpful before, during and after our stay. We hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful time as a group of 18 at Hause Hall, Cruik Barn and the Stables. The location is incredible, with fell running and walking straight from the door. Martindale is beautifully secluded and quiet – but not too far for the Tesco delivery! The accommodation was ideal for a big group with young children – plenty of room for kids to run around also cosy up around the fire. The place was spotless and fitted out to a really high standard, with more than enough pans to cook Christmas dinner for 18! Christine was extremely helpful in the booking process, everyone loved their stay and we’re already talking about dates for next year! Thanks so much 🙂

Highly recommended, beautifully furnished and toasty warm, a perfect place to chill out in a big group, with walking from the door. The welcome pack was a fantastic surprise, the best ever. Christine couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with. We will definitely be returning.

We booked Hause Hall Farm for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding with 25 guests, accommodation for 18 onsite. We had the best time celebrating amongst our family and friends. Everyone felt at home, it was well equipped, dog friendly, incredible views, large living room and spacious dining room with open kitchen, lots of storage and bedrooms were accommodating for all guests, including heaters, spare bedding, and a travel cot. Just as advertised on other reviews and their website. The management was very supportive leading up to, and on our special day. We chose Hause Hall Farm because we love the area and it was a good location for both our families to travel too. We love the idea of visiting for future wedding anniversary’s and hosting over Christmas. The space is very diverse for all occasions, cost effective, we were able to decorate how we liked, book our own catering/private chef, and had no corkage fee or exiting time as per usual weddings. Our families and guests had a fab time! Our photographer and chef was very impressed. Thank you and much love to Joanna and the team.

We were a party of 15, including 2 babies and 3 teenagers. We were there at the beginning of November 24 and used Cruik Barn as well as Hause Hall. All the bedrooms were furnished to a good standard. The accommodation as a whole matched the website descriptions and the separate dining area and sitting area worked really well for us. The information supplied re appliances etc was comprehensive. The views on all sides were beautiful especially from the glass-walled seating area.

All our party were very happy with their weekend.

An amazing house for a birthday gathering, with hill-walking, mountain biking and dog walks from the doorstep and paddle boarding a few minutes away on Ullswater. Big but cosy and beautifully fitted out so it was a pleasure to simply sit and gaze at the fells on a rainy day.
