Fantastic stay at Hause Hall Farm on the Rowley Estates. Christine and the team were incredibly responsive and helpful regarding anything to do with our stay. The property is in an amazing location, with incredible views and is very well thought out with amenities – the welcome basket was incredibly lovely too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hause Hall Farm for your Lake District stay – we can’t wait to be back!

We had a fantastic stay. Communication with Christine beforehand was prompt and very helpful including ideas of places to visit and what was on in the local area. Having the two properties next door to each other suited our family gathering well. Both were well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The welcome hamper was amazing and everything you might need was provided. The local area was great for walks- we enjoyed seeing Long Meg stone circle and Greystoke castle. We also enjoyed playing snooker by transforming the dining table. A great place to stay!

Although space is limited in a shepherd’s hut, Oak Retreat had been planned extremely well. The fold away bed (which was very comfortable) was well thought out as this gave us extra space to use the table and seating arrangements during the day. Also the drawer under one side of the table was huge and great for storage. The welcome package was by far the best we have ever received in a self catering property and we enjoyed every bit of it (a lot of local produce). Also the toiletries provided were very nice, also Lake District products. Christine was very helpful and gave us an earlier check in and later check out at the hut. We had the added bonus of 4 days of sunshine, which was lovely for my birthday treat, so we never needed to light the log burner as the hut was very cosy. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the shepherd’s huts and would probably try one of the ones situated by the river next time. Thank you Christine, hope to see you again.

We had a wonderful time with our family, the area was so beautiful and the property suited our needs down to the ground! Perfectly clean, and great recommendations for walks and eating out.

We had the most incredible weekend at Todd Hills Farm. From start to finish by far the best air bnb experience I’ve had. Christine was really communicative and emailed me recommendations for the stay. The accommodation was exceptional with every room being beautiful and spacious with stunning countryside views from all room. We really had the best weekend here and I would recommend it to anyone. It was utterly perfect! We were getting married at Gretna Green and stayed here and we can honestly say that the property was a huge part of what made the whole time so fantastic! Thank you so much!
