Our third stay at a Rowley Estate’s cottage and never been disappointed. Everything at Jenny’s Croft has been thoughtfully presented from the well equipped kitchen, comfort and entertainment in the sitting room, lovely toiletries in the bathrooms and even a dog shower outside to rinse off muddy paws. There is also a more than generous welcome hamper. North Lakes and the Eden Valley are our favourite places for a family get together and we can’t imagine staying anywhere other than a Rowley Estate’s property.

Myself and my wife have been staying in dog friendly cottages since we had our first dog 11 years ago.
We have stayed in quite a few cottages, but have only managed to be really pleased with about 4.

I can safely say that Jenny’s Croft has probably been the closest to being perfect as we have stayed in.

Exceptional as always. Everything you need. Welcome hamper is generous and delicious. It’s a really comfortable cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.

What a lovely cottage! Very well equipped and such a generous welcome basket. The beds are comfy and it’s very warm and cosy despite having lots of space. This is probably the only place we’ve stayed true to the photos on the website. Thank you we had a great couple of weeks. I would highly recommend.

I recently booked this for some people on our celebrant retreat at Glassonby Hall. It’s a beautiful, spacious and lovely cottage and I’d gladly book it again. Jenny’s Croft has the same care and attention to detail as all the other Rowley Estates I’ve had the pleasure of being in (personally or professionally). My guests loved being in this space.

Absolutely fabulous. The perfect place to explore both the Pennines and the Lake District, but – be warned – the local countryside is so delightful we ended up just walking locally quite a bit.
The accommodation is perfect. Comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated.
The kitchen was well equipped. We love to self cater and lacked nothing (except a BBQ, which we do love to use in the winter, even, but figure they’d removed for the winter months, and was obviously there in the summer given the other equipment present).
The beds were comfy and the cottage was very cosy. No chance of getting cold.
The Rowley estates folks were attentive to our needs but not at all intrusive.
Oh – and what a hamper!!
All in all I hope we can return soon!

Jenny’s Croft is a quality property, tastefully decorated to the highest standard with all the amenities you could want.
The staff at Rowley Estates could not have been more helpful or friendly and the welcome hamper was extensively stocked with quality local products. I will definitely stay in a Rowley Estates property again.

Our party stayed at both Jenny’s Croft & Glassonby Hall during our recent trip to the lake district. I cannot speak highly enough of both properties which are both amazing. Jenny’s Croft was beautifully appointed and in its own grounds with plentiful parking. The decor is perfect offering comfort & style and is fully equipped with everything you need – home from home. The welcome basket was most generous & provided lots of quality local produce which was a lovely touch & very much appreciated. The communication with the owner’s was second to none which made the whole experience so easy, pleasant and reassuring, they had thought of everything. This lovely cottage wuth stunning views provides a perfect base for a lovely ‘get away from it all’ break. I can only hope to return one day soon.

Would just like to say that we loved ‘Jenny’s Croft’. It is a fabulous place to say and so many things to do and see locally.
We will definitely come again. I think we have now stayed at all of your barns both here in Glassonby and Blencowe! Love every single one of them and the standard of cleanliness and comfort is second to none. Thank you very much.

I will also be going on the purelakes site to buy some products. They too were fantastic.
