Just returned from a long weekend at hause hall farm. We went for my husbands 65th birthday with family and friends. On arrival at property we couldn’t believe the amazing views. You are literally surrounded by hills. Absolutely stunning scenery. The main house was lovely. Large open plan kitchen dinning room with a sitting room at other end. Huge garden room with views across the hills. Plenty of room for everyone. 1 double ensuite room downs stairs and 4 upstairs. We also had Cruik barn which was beautiful with 2 double en-suite room, a lovely lounge and kitchen. We also had the stables which had 2 double en-suite rooms. Perfect for my sons as they had their own space but made then come over to the main house as they had no public areas! There are plenty of walks on your doorstep and it’s only a 20 min walk down to the terminal for the ullswater steamer. Great weekend. Thank you so much Christine and team.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything about the property was superb. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped. The whole family loved sitting in the conservatory with outstanding views. The bathrooms were plentiful with plenty of hot water and powerful showers. The location was perfect – tucked away from the main tourist areas but with some lovely walks from the doorstep. We were also very lucky with the weather which was a great bonus. What a great place to stay!

We have just had a long weekend celebrating my 50th birthday at this beautiful venue. It was absolutely perfect! The interior is lovely, homely and with a very well equipped kitchen. There’s ample space for everyone to gather, either around the large dining table or in the spacious conservatory/day room. It’s brilliant that all bedrooms have their own well appointed bathrooms, too. A beautiful hamper upon arrival. Correspondence beforehand was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate returning to Hause Hall or one of the other Rowley Estate properties. The views from the top of Hallin Fell are worth the climb!

I am so pleased we chose Hause Hall to celebrate my Husbands 40th birthday. The views were spectacular and the property is amazing. It was our first time doing an Air BnB, and Christine made it easy and was so friendly in helping with all queries – especially helping with finding local activities for the kids. Hause Hall was amazing, it was lovely and warm inside. The agar was great! We hired a hot tub too, Christine was so helpful in providing access to the property to ensure it was all setup before we arrived. I’d highly recommend Christine and the Rowley Estates family, you will not be disappointed!

Words can’t describe the beautiful landscape these properties are in! We booked Hause Hall and Cruik Barn for our group of 14, every bedroom is luxurious and immaculately clean . It is just simple stunning! Excellent communication and service from Christine and her team. I would highly recommend booking any of the properties on the Rowley Estates.

5* Place to stay with all the homely comforts. Fantastic hamper on arrival and fire wood supplied – very much needed as we were there during a heavy storm. Fantastic for large groups and very beautiful surroundings and interior. Christine the owner was really helpful and responsive when needed to check any details. Fantastic service and experience. We’d love to come back for a Christmas. Would love to stay again – would just hope the weather would be kinder!! Thanks

Many thanks to you and the team at Rowley, We had a fantastic few days at Hause Hall and around Ullswater, the house was a great base for celebrating my birthday and the location is beautiful.

Delightful, cosy, sparklingly clean, comfortable house, barn and stables. Plenty of room for all of us to be together, with the opportunity to retreat when in need of some space. Enormous hamper to welcome us, including all the basics for a cup of tea and a mince pie on arrival. The AGA made sure we were never cold. We had a fabulous time.

The location is stunning. Very special indeed. Beautiful views. We hired a hot tub and it was SO perfectly placed for gazing up at the mountains and down Martindale. This was our second stay at Hause Hall, Cruik Barn and The Stables for a family get-together. It’s worth noting that all the properties are very well insulated, draft-free and really warm. Both times we’ve stayed here have been in winter and both times have been wonderful.
