We had a great stay while there, with beautiful views the second you step out of the hut. Could not recommend enough, Thanks for the breakfast as well that bread was fantastic

A fantastic place to stay! We arrived to a brilliant welcome basket made up of local produce. The hut has been well designed with great kitchen and bathroom facilities. The location is peaceful with a beautiful view from the hut of the Lake District.

Absolutely fabulous stay in the Oak Retreat. Christine is a really friendly, responsive host and the retreat was very well stocked with everything we needed and more. We really appreciated the locally sourced extras which was such a lovely touch that we very much enjoyed! The view is so beautiful and peaceful. It really is a little corner of heaven! Perfect. Thank you!

Very nice stay! Beautiful scenery and nice local walks. Place was spotless and as described. Very nice owner and left a very nice breakfast hamper and a very handy guide of the surroundings.

What a lovely hut! The surroundings were so peaceful and picturesque. The host was hands off but I knew she was there if I needed her. The introduction book had lovely suggestions of walks and amenities in the local area. The local pub was a lovely place to visit for a drink after a long walk. The hut was clean and super cosy! A hamper of beautiful local produce was provided upon arrival and plenty of fire wood was provided for the fire pit and barbecue (the wood was a life saver after I got my walking boots soaked through on a hike as it allowed me to make a fire to dry them off!) We will definitely be back to visit again what a lovely place to stay!

Really friendly and responsive host, Accommodation was exactly as described and great attention to detail, the surroundings were picturesque and the accommodation was perfectly situated. Would highly recommend and won’t hesitate to return. The price for the accommodation and amenities was reasonable and we could not fault anything about our stay.

Peaceful location and everything you need in this cozy hut. Thoughtful welcome pack on arrival! Self check in was easy and Christine the host was friendly and informative with the details.
