Lovely accommodation for a family celebration, booked Cazenovia and Wythburn together. Good to have en-suite facilities for each room. Furniture and fittings suitable for property type. Well appointed kitchen and facilities. Welcome packs had local good quality products which is appreciated. Beautiful gardens, tendered to and kept tidy, enjoyed looking at the flowers. Great views across the landscape. Christine was very responsive to queries prior to stay. Useful to have separate utility for dog equipment and dog shower outside. Luckily the weather stayed mostly fine so didn’t need to use these, but dog families will appreciate these. One member of the group enjoyed stay so much she painted a small thank you card in watercolours inspired by the flower garden to leave to say thanks. Recommended.

We stayed here for a weekend as a group of four families with young children and there was more than plenty space to accommodate us all. We enjoyed the garden with beautiful views in all directions and lovely walks from the door without having to drive anywhere. The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Many thanks for a lovely weekend break.

Our stay at Gill Beck Barn was over too quickly! The barn had everything we could need for our week’s holiday and was thoughtfully provided. We arrived to a beautiful ‘welcome basket’ and pristine accommodation. The position of the barn is in walking distance to the local pub and bakery as well as some stunning walk/runs/hikes, lots of ideas had been provided in the folders as well. Easy drive to even more beautiful walking and exploration of the Lakes as well as the Pennines. Really wonderful stay – thank you.

A fantastic 3 nights at the Shepherds hut! Very peaceful, perfect location to relax and very comfortable. Has everything we needed for several days and the breakfast items were a very nice addition. Christine and her team always answered questions very quickly and were so helpful. Would highly recommend, and we’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Hause Hall. The property is amazing and suited our needs perfectly.
It will certainly remain on our list of ‘return to’ properties should we all endeavour to visit the northern lakes area again. The weather was favourable for Kayaking and then the Via Ferrate Extreme on the Thursday but typical ‘hill’ weather on the Friday meant a cold, wet and windy walk around across Striding Edge and Swirral Edge.

We had a wonderful stay at Hause Hall. The property is amazing and suited our needs perfectly.
