We had a great stay. Lots of privacy and all the comforts. There was a delicious drinks board waiting for us. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely fabulous stay in the Oak Retreat. Christine is a really friendly, responsive host and the retreat was very well stocked with everything we needed and more. We really appreciated the locally sourced extras which was such a lovely touch that we very much enjoyed! The view is so beautiful and peaceful. It really is a little corner of heaven! Perfect. Great little place to stop and very good instructions to check in and get comfortable. Location was peaceful and quiet. Recommend for a couple getaway.

Me and my partner stayed at Elm retreat 8th – 12th july. we had a lovely few days away. Keswick, Grasmere and other lovely villages not too far away. we will definitely be returning. Thank you Christine.

Very nice stay! Beautiful scenery and nice local walks. Place was spotless and as described. Very nice owner and left a very nice breakfast hamper and a very handy guide of the surroundings.

Honestly one of the best air BnBs I’ve ever stayed in. Very well laid out and very nice that every room has its own en-suite! As a family of 12 and with 3 dogs it was perfect, with large kitchen/ dining area and a large lounge. Really nice extra touches, such as the toiletries and the goody hamper on arrival. Christine was very responsive and accommodating to requests and really went above and beyond for what’s normally expected. Location is also good to different lakes and walks. Would recommend Rydal Water. Would most definitely return!

Absolutely lovely place to stay so peaceful and quiet with just the river below flowing. Great for an evening just sitting and relaxing with a drink. Christine is really helpful with everything you need to know and what’s on and thing’s to do around the area. Great cosy shepherds hut, Would definitely go back for another stay. A*
