What a joy to find such a perfect place for our family group of 6 adults, 4 children & 3 dogs. Christine & her team were brilliant, very professional from start to finish. The gardens were perfectly manicured with plenty of space for our Easter Egg hunt! The kitchen was huge with everything you could possibly need & two large family dining areas one which doubled as a snooker room. A 5 star welcome pack awaited us which was a lovely touch, together with everything you could possibly need for everyday kitchen use. All bedrooms were large & en-suites with fluffy towels and toiletries. Big comfy beds & beautiful crisp cotton bedding. The house was warm, welcoming & comfortable for our four youngsters to run around & play without fear of them breaking anything. We had a fabulous stay the weather was a bit mixed so we hired a hot tub for the kids to have fun in and to relieve our aching limbs after our hill walks! We ate at the local pub in Melmerby food was very good. Big thank you 😊

An amazing property overlooking the eastern Lake District – a fantastic stay, everything required for a large family weekend away – the enclosed outside space is excellent for children and dogs… Christine was an exceptional host, catering to our needs (great welcome pack), allowing us a late check-out. A fabulous farm house with fantastic views.
6 Great en suite bedrooms and a large kitchen /dining area with every facility/ utensil you need.
Two wood burners create a great effect, and the fire pit outside was a real bonus for sitting out and star gazing .
Christine is a fabulous host and couldn’t have been more helpful in making our stay memorable.
And the formal dining table can be converted into a snooker table!
