Stayed there for the weekend with friends and my little dog. Apart for the weather everything was perfect and the welcoming hamper even included dog treats. I would recommend it 100% and The communication with Christine was great. We can’t wait to stay there again!

An exceptionally warm, comfy, clean and very well equipped cottage. A real home from home. The location is great for exploring Carlisle and Hadrians wall, the Pennines and the eastern Lake District. There are good pubs nearby for food and Penrith is just 20 minutes away for provisions. Some good local walking too near the River Eden and the Long Meg stone circle. Can highly recommend the Rowley Estate properties and especially Elk Cottage.

We had a great weekend at Jenny’s croft. The cottage is very well equipped and the furniture and fittings are of a high standard. It is spacious yet feels cozy thanks to the big wood burner and good stock of logs. A lovely scenic and peaceful location. The welcome hamper was superb!

We had an amazing stay at Jenny’s Croft. Our second stay at The Rowley Estates – and it didn’t disappoint. Very high standard, well equipped cottage and beautiful location. Great 4 night stay, lovely property all mod cons. Coal fire with logs. Near small villagers with pubs and cafes. Christine very quick to respond if you have a query. This is our fourth stay in Rowley estates. And we will be back.

A beautiful luxury holiday cottage. Very spacious, everything was of a very high standard and there was everything you could possibly need. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Wonderful welcome hamper. Will definitely return.

A luxurious cottage in beautiful and peaceful countryside. Ideally situated for exploring the Lake District and Eden Valley or just chilling out in 5 star surroundings. Excellent in every way.
