Absolutely loved our stay at elm retreat so peaceful and tranquil. lovely personal touches to greet us ,bread and homemade jam and a welcome note scenery is picturesque and everyone one we met on our walks was so friendly and welcoming

Lovely shepherds hut , really enjoyed my stay.

My partner and I had a wonderful week’s stay at the Elm Retreat. We were welcomed with a lovely bundle of treats and a welcome card upon arrival, as well as a folder with lots of useful information about the cabin, including access to WiFi as well as things to do in the local area. The cabin was beautifully clean and comfortable and we were provided with everything we could have needed whilst staying there. Although we were staying in February when the weather was a bit cooler, the cabin was toasty warm. On the one (and rare) occasion that the the solar panel battery died- which meant we had no heating or lighting, we messaged Christine, and within half an hour the battery had been replaced and everything was up and running again- despite it being dark and later in the evening! Overall, it was just the most wonderful and peaceful stay and we are already planning a return trip in spring! Would absolutely recommend!

Had a really lovely stay at Christine’s. Breakfast was provided and the place was exactly as it seems in the pictures. The location and instructions provided were very accurate and clear.

We had an amazing stay at Elm Retreat over NYE, plenty of amenities provided and the fold down bed was very comfortable. Christine was very contactable and provided very clear directions to the lodge. We will most definitely be returning in the warmer months to make use of the great outdoor space provided!

A cute little place. Ideal for a quiet secluded visit especially when it’s good weather. The welcome pack was indeed very welcome. We enjoyed partaking of that. The owner was most helpful returning things left behind

Absolutely amazing stay. We did Monday -Wednesday and we couldn’t fault it! Really good price for what it is. Everything we needed was in the lodge and the hosts were more than happy to help with any questions or queries, communication was fab! 10000% recommend!!!

Had a lovely stay at Elm Retreat! Such a dreamy place and great location as well. The hut was really well equipped, the bed so comfortable, and we loved the special touch of the welcome hamper. Would love to stay there again.
