Secluded, beautiful scenery. Wanted for nothing (outside seating, logs for the fire, local sourced products like bread, milk, eggs, butter and so much more).
I absolutely loved my stay at the Oak Retreat. The space is clean, quiet, comfortable, and you feel like you’re on your own, yet know there are people nearby if you need anything. The wood burning stove was lovely, and plenty of wood was supplied. The kitchen was well stocked,...

Stayed at Glassonby Hall for a Celebrants’ retreat – it was the perfect location. Spacious, supremely comfortable and very well equipped. Hope to visit again – perhaps for another retreat or even a celebration with friends?

We had a very enjoyable stay at Larch retreat. The cabin was very comfortable and was warm and dry even though we had rainy weather. We also really appreciated the breakfast supplies and the little wood burning stove.
Beautifully restored hall. Under floor heating is a definite bonus. Generous basket of goodies and lots of space to mingle.
