Beautiful property, and breathtaking view all around. The road leading to the property is amazing. The rooms, food all the employees will make your holiday worthwhile that you will never regret.

A beautiful, private hut with everything we needed and more. Gorgeous bathroom products left for us to use along with a thoughtful welcome food package. We were left alone to enjoy our stay but knew we had Christine to hand if required. We will absolutely return and will be recommending to friends and family. Great base to explore the eastern fells. Thank you Christine we had a wonderful break.

Delightful shepherds hut – ‘Larch Retreat’ with log burner, cosy nights welcome hamper, artisan goodies, homemade jam by the Rowley which was delicious. Excellent views, log burner outside too. Fulyl functioning toilet & shower would recommend. Quiet wooded area good parking, had a look round the gardens and short trip to Penrith & Greystoke village, we were  celebrating 22yrs of marriage wanted a quiet getaway. Perfect.

Lovely cabin. Private and presentable. Easily located and all typical resources available plus more. Can’t wait to make a next visit!

We had the most wonderful time on our 4 day stay at the oak retreat! The hut was cute and cozy and the location was perfect, allowing us to visit lots of places around the Northern Lake District. We were only a short drive from Penrith and a little bit further away was Keswick. I can’t recommend this accomodation enough!

First time staying at Oak Retreat. Set in a beautiful, quiet location. Oak Retreat was absolutely fantastic, everything you needed was provided and the complimentary hamper was wonderful. 3 night stay in the oak retreat was perfect, easy to find and a good location for exploring the lakes. The hut had pretty much all that you needed with stunning views looking over the fields. It was reasonably priced for what you got. We Would stay again and would recommend.

An amazing place to stay, oak retreat. Cabin was amazing. Waking up to loads of wildlife. Definitely be staying again.
