I recently stayed at Glassonby Hall and this accommodation catered for every single need for myself and my guests during our stay. “Hi Christine, thank you for an amazing stay, mum (and especially the dogs!) absolutely loved it and the activity guides and hamper were a fantastic touch. We didn’t get chance to do the Melmerby walk but the other local walks and lakes walks recommended were perfect.

The Shepheard’s Hut was amazing with a lot of wonderful features and necessities, the food hamper was very unexpected but a lovely surprise upon arrival with some amazing products. I will leave an exceptional review for other people to see and I will highly recommend the Shepheards Hut to friends and family.

A magnificent place for our family weekend away! The hall, grounds and surrounding area are beautiful and attention to detail is second to none. Loads of room for everyone (although finding our way round was challenging 😂) and the luxurious bedding made a brilliant night’s sleep. The cupboards and drawers are crammed with everything you could possibly need and The Billiard room a triumph! We had the most fantastic stay at Melmerby Hall and will recommend to anyone 👌

The house is in a beautiful setting with lovely views and spending just four days at the house has relaxed and recharged us. The decor, cosy feel is fantastic and we can’t wait to come back again.
