This place is spectacular and perfect for large groups, with a proper sense of occasion (we held a great 50th birthday party there). There are many communal spaces nicely spread about the castle and the bedrooms are fantastic (very comfy beds), meaning everyone can escape to privacy if they need to. Penrith, Keswick and the best of the Lake District are all within easy reach – something for everyone. We had an amazing meal (including vegan options) cooked by Lynn Hilditch caterers. Lynn and her team were really lovely and the food was outstanding. Really couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

This is the best equipped holiday accommodation we have ever rented. There is a very generous welcome hamper and many, many other extra provisions. The accommodation is lovely – large rooms, plenty of space, comfy chairs and a delightful garden, with a private area for sitting out. The Hall gave us the most perfect place for all our family to meet up and we highly recommend this holiday retreat.

Another fantastic fun-filled weekend. Our little mini Christmas was perfect.

Wow , the cottage was just perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, cosy and everything you could possibly think to need was provided. It also included a welcome basket with goodies in. The beds were so comfortable we had the best nights sleep. Thank you to Christine and her team for having us , we will be back soon x

What a fantastic place to stay. I had arranged to visit Riverain for my boyfriends birthday, meeting up with family as a surprise. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to meet. The cottage itself is stunning and the service really was 5 star. The welcome pack was yummy especially the home made raspberry jam 🙂 We would definitely visit again and have already recommended it to a number of family and friends.

Thank you for providing us with a comfortable base where all our family could be together to celebrate my my Mum’s 80th Birthday. We have been fortunate to enjoy fantastic weather to explore this little gem of a place and had the well-appointed house and cottages to return to after walking each day. We really appreciated having such a well kitted out kitchen to prepare our meals and also the high standard of bedrooms/bathrooms etc for rest at the end of the day. The views are superb in all directions and we loved congregating in the living room with its picture windows. Thank you too for the welcome hamper and thanks Jilly for taking us through fixing the satellite dish so enthusiasts could watch the rugby.

Thank you for letting your beautiful cottage to us! It was perfect! The children have had a wonderful Lake District adventure and Elk Cottage was a fantastic base. We will definitely visit the Rowley Estates again!

Our return visit to Cazenovia Hall did not disappoint. Wonderful welcome hamper with so many lovely treats! House had everything we needed and more. Christine is a delight to communicate with and nothing is too much trouble. We will return again I am sure!
